Getting started

What is cPanel reseller hosting?

A reseller plan lets you split one hosting account into many separate cPanel accounts and sell them to your own clients. You manage the accounts in WHM (WebHost Manager), and each client gets their own cPanel login.

#
Who is it for?

Web designers, developers and agencies who host their clients' websites, and anyone who wants to start a hosting business without running their own servers.

#
Do I get WHM access?

Yes. Every plan includes WHM, where you create hosting packages, add, suspend and remove cPanel accounts, and check how many resources each account uses.

#
What is the difference between WHM and cPanel?

WHM is your reseller dashboard: you use it to create hosting packages and open, upgrade or suspend client accounts. cPanel is the control panel each of your clients gets, where they manage their own files, email, databases, domains and backups.

Do I need technical skills?

Basic knowledge of websites and hosting helps. We run the servers, backups and security, and our support team helps you with WHM whenever you need it.

#
Can I try cPanel first?

Yes. The official cPanel demo account lets you look around the control panel your clients will use before you order.

Migration

Will you move my existing accounts for free?

Yes. Nano includes 1 free account transfer and all other plans include 10. Our technicians move your cPanel accounts directly from your current host, with their files, databases, email accounts and DNS records. When your new account is active, open a request with our support team and share the access details for your current host.

What do you need from me to move my accounts?

Access to your current host, such as your WHM or cPanel login details, and a list of the accounts you want moved. Your new plan needs to be active first.

#
How do I request a migration?

Once your new account is active, open a request with our support team from the billing area and share the access details for your current host. Our technicians take it from there.

#
When do I switch my domains over?

After the accounts are copied and you've checked that everything looks right. Then point each domain's DNS or nameservers to your new account. Keep your old hosting active until you've switched.

#
What if I have more accounts than my free transfers?

Nano includes 1 free transfer and every other plan includes 10. If you need to move more, contact us before you order and ask about the options.

#

Plans & pricing

How many cPanel accounts can I create?

It depends on the plan, from 6 accounts on Nano up to 200 on Unlimited 4. You can upgrade at any time as your client base grows.

Are the features the same on every plan?

Yes. Every plan includes the same software and tools. Plans differ in the number of cPanel accounts you can create and the number of free account transfers.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. You can move to a bigger plan whenever you need more cPanel accounts.

#
What does "unlimited" storage and traffic mean?

Your plan has no fixed disk or traffic quota, so you don't have to divide storage between clients. Each account is still subject to the Excessive Resource Use Policy in our cPanel Hosting Terms, which sets fair limits on CPU, memory and concurrent connections so one site can't slow down the others.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If you cancel a new hosting account within 30 days of buying it, you get a full refund. Renewals, upgrades and domain registrations are not refundable; the details are in our Refund Policy.

Billing & domains

Is billing software included?

Yes. You get a free license for ClientExec, a billing and support system with automatic invoicing and a built-in ticket system. Contact our support team after you sign up and we'll send you the installation files.

#
Can I use WHMCS or other billing software?

Yes. Every plan includes a free ClientExec license, and WHMCS is available as an add-on. Billing platforms that support WHM, such as WHMCS, create and suspend your clients' accounts automatically when they pay.

#
Can I sell domain names too?

Yes. You can get an eNom domain reseller account free of charge, even though eNom normally asks for a $500 deposit, and register domains for your clients at reseller prices. Our staff create these accounts by hand, so just ask our support team once you've signed up.

#

Features

Are backups included?

Yes. JetBackup creates two backups per week, and your clients can restore their files, databases and email themselves from cPanel.

#
Is SSL included?

Yes. AutoSSL is enabled on every account, so a free SSL certificate is installed automatically within 24 hours of adding a domain or subdomain.

#
Where are your data centers?

You can choose between five data centers: Chicago (USA), Coventry (UK), Sofia (Bulgaria), Pori (Finland) and Sydney (Australia). Pick one above the plans before you order.
